In Madagascar:

To work as a pharmacist in the pharmacy of three health facilities (Aina Vao, Mahasoa and Fanantenana dispensaries) in the port city of Mahajanga, Madagascar.

In Tanzania :

To work as a pharmacist in the pharmacy of Lugala hospital, as well as in Mahenge hospital, in the highlands of Morogoro region.

Concerning both missions :

The candidate works as a volunteer. He/she provides technical support to strengthen local capacities, trains local staff and transfers pharmaceutical skills. Both missions are part of the development cooperation.

Duration :

As soon as possible for a period of one year

You have :

  • a diploma of pharmacist with at least two years of professional experience in a pharmacy;
  • a diploma of pharmacist with at least two years of professional experience in a pharmacy;
  • an interest in education and training;
  • an ability to adapt and work in a team;
  • de l’intérêt pour la découverte d’une autre culture.

Specific requirements for the mission in Madagascar

  • a good knowledge of French;
  • The volunteer will give some practical courses at the University of Antananarivo to pharmacy students.

Specific requirements for the mission in Tanzania :

  • A good knowledge of English (working language), and the willingness to learn Swahili.
