Madagascar

Since 2011, Pharmacists without Borders Switzerland (PSF Switzerland) has been supporting health centres in the region of Mahajanga, Madagascar, helping both the health care staff to improve their skills and the patients to access quality care. Since 2018, the projects’ orientations have been successful as Aina Vao dispensary has become a reference centre in the region.

Nevertheless, the support of PSF Switzerland was necessary during the global crisis of Covid-19, which revealed new needs and led to the evolution of the project in several aspects, as well as the support of new partners.
