Our current project for 2025-2027

The aim of the “Facilitating access to quality medicines in health facilities in Tanzania (2025 – 2027)” project is to improve access to affordable, quality pharmaceutical services and products in the Morogoro region, more specifically in the districts of Malinyi, Mlimba, Ulanga and, more recently, in the Kilombero district. This project is a follow-up to those previously implemented in the country, with targeted developments to meet the needs of the population, particularly for palliative care.

The project is based on 4 pillars:

• Financial support for Lugala Hospital and its dispensaries to guarantee the availability of medicines
• Technical support from our volunteers in the field: professionalisation of healthcare staff in the supported establishments
• Improvement of the infrastructure of healthcare establishments
• Strengthening the skills of healthcare staff and community health workers in the districts of Ulanga and Malinyi
